The Circus

This was a really fun night! Aliyah’s first circus! Aliyah went to camp this day and got her hair spray painted pink. Hehehe! Then I found blue sparkling eye shadow in her pocket so I proceeded to put the fun shadow all over her face haha! It was so fun! Then Grace got in on the action too! The circus was really fun! Our favorite parts were the funny clowns, and the tigers. We almost didn’t go because we had so much to do before Aliyahs party, but thanks to Conrad and Tiffany we ended up going anyway. I am so glad we did, I think she really enjoyed it. In fact she still talks about the clowns even today! However, when we were at the circus there where animal activist there handing out pamphlets stating that animal cruelty was a problem at the circus. I had no idea but a few years back some huge controversy had taken place about the care of elephants. It does make me want to think twice about revisiting the circus again. In fact, I don’t even think having elephants at the circus are necessary. I have a graphic u-tube link here be careful its pretty heart wrenching! I am glad we went though because I had no idea that this was going on! I think it is good to be aware, and to make conscious decisions for the future of family entertainment .
